LOS ANGELES, CA, USA (defend.ht) - Ambassador-at-Large Sean Penn graduated on Friday from his 2009 court ordered anger management classes with top marks according to school administrators and his lawyer.
After the Haitian Diplomat at Large took down a member of the paparazzi in 2009, Penn plead no contest to vandalism and had a charge of battery dismissed.
But the judge gave the "Fast Times..." star 4 years of probation, which he will be under until May 2013 and 36 hours of anger management.
On July 13th, 2012 his lawyer told the courts that he had completed the anger management courses.
Civil Case
In 2009, Sean Penn kicked papparazzo Jordan Dawes who was following him with a camera. Along with a criminal case, Penn faced a civil case as Dawes sought justice through a lawsuit.
Dawes and his lawyer told TMZ that the terms of the settlement between the two parties reads that "All of the net proceeds of the settlement will be donated to charities that support victims of domestic violence and victims of the earthquake in Haiti."
Donald Karpel, the powerhouse attorney who took the case donated a large chunk of his attorney's fees as well.
After the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Sean Penn co-founded the J/P Haitian Relief Organization and has been organizing for a 55,000 person tent camp in Petionville.
