HOUSTON, USA (defend.ht) - No. 2 golfer in the world, Rory McIlroy, 23, has apologized after putting his need for more competitive golf action ahead of a planned humanitarian visit to Haiti next week -- and said his caddy had played a big part in the decision.

DUBLIN, Ireland (defend.ht) - Rory McIlroy will spend part of his week before the Masters in Haiti, a formula that worked for him as a 22 year old winning the U.S. Open in record fashion in 2011.
