- Saturday, July 30, 2011 8:25 PM
Marcell Dareus spent the summer mowing lawns to pass the time as the NFL lockout continued but now that it is over he has signed his contract and is finally a millionaire.
In a CNN interview, Marcell described the hard work he was getting put through by his Godfather Lester 'Sarge' Reasor. Reasor is a landscaper and made sure to utilize his Godson's youth and strength for his work.
Things are different now. The NFL lockout ended this week and Marcell is in Buffalo, New York getting up to speed with the Bills.
The former defensive end for the Champion Alabama Crimson Tide signed his deal for $20.4 million on Friday and although he will be on the grass this fall, it will not be on a lawnmower.
