Doação de 800 toneladas de arroz provenientes da República da China para o Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - O embaixador da República da China no Haiti, o Sr. Bang-ZYH Liu, eo diretor da organização não-governamental Food for the Poor Haiti, Kareen Dolce, testemunhou conjuntamente ao chegada de 800 toneladas de arroz (cerca de 980 mil dólares americanos).
Taking note of the difficult living conditions of disadvantaged segments of the Haitian population, especially after the earthquake of January 12, 2010, the Government of Republic of China, represented by Ambassador Liu Bang-Zyh, signed a grant agreement on May 30 with the organization Food for the Poor Haiti, represented by Kareen Dolce, to enable the organization to implement its programs food assistance.
This cooperation, existing for several years as part of humanitarian aid, is a joint effort of the Taiwanese government and Food for the Poor in the fight against poverty. The donation of rice demonstrates once again the solidarity between the two fraternal peoples of Haiti and Taiwan.
