PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - terça - feira, 22 de novembro, 2011. O Ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros e dos Assuntos Religiosos, Sua Excelência, Laurent Lamothe, aprendeu com grande satisfação, a eleição em nome do Haiti, do Embaixador Jean Wesley Cazeau como membro da Unidade de Inspeção Conjunta (JIU) da Organização das Nações Unidas ( das Nações Unidas) para o período de 2013-2017, obtendo 96 votos.
The arrival of the representative of Haiti in this important forum aims to fill the vacant seat reserved for the Group of States of Latin America and the Caribbean. Six members were elected in total at the ICC on this occasion.
The structure of the UN, which is composed of 11 members, is empowered to conduct investigations and inspections, and provide independent perspective with the aim of improving management and methods, and to ensure greater coordination among the organizations of the UN system.
