Depite Arnel Belizaire agrese Anplwaye la pos

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - Security camera footage has surfaced showing Deputy Arnel Belizaire (Delmas/independent) aggressively handling a worker at the post office.

It appears as if the post office worker attempted to stop the Parliamentarians representing Delmas and Tabarre from entering a backroom.

Sound is not available in this security footage made public so the context of this matter is not known, but it is clear that the parliamentarian entered the backroom and left with a letter in hand.

Deputy Belizaire made headlines in the fall of 2011 when he was arrested at the Toussaint Louverture airport upon returning from a working trip in France. Parliamentarians do enjoy immunity from arrest unless their colleagues in the same house vote to put them at the disposal of justice.

This is not the first incident documented by DH of a Haitian lawmaker, for whatever reason, taking an aggressive and physical disposition against a citizen.

In September of 2012, Senator Edwin Zenny (Sud-Est/Inite) terrorized and spat on a citizen participating in a live radio broadcast. Zenny was not invited and was considered as breaking into the private property of the station.
