Haiti: President Martelly Receives 3 New Ambassadors to Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - On Friday, President Michel Martelly received the letters of credentials from three new ambassadors to Haiti. The Presidency estimates the renewal of these ambassadors to be a "commitment by thier countries to support President Martelly in his efforts to improve the living conditions of the population."

Friday, August 3, 2012: President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly, received on Friday, at the National Palace, the credentials of three (3) new Ambassadors accredited to Port-au Prince:

Ms. Pamela A. White of the United States of America,
Klaus Peter Schick of the Federal Republic of Germany
and María Eugenia Barrios Alemán of Honduras.

The Head of State has warmly welcomed the diplomats and reassures them of his willingness to work in full cooperation to strengthen ties of friendship and strengthen cooperative relations between their countries and Haiti.

The same desire is clearly expressed by the new Ambassadors who renew the commitment of their countries to support the President Martelly in its efforts to improve the living conditions of the population.

The President of the Republic continues to send a clear signal of change in Haiti to countries around the world. The Head of State wants the work that will make the new Ambassadors will be fruitful both for their country and for the Haitian people.
