President Martelly Holds High Level Meeting on National Security

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - Wednesday, October 26, 2011. President of the Republic, His Excellency, Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly, met at the National Palace, the ambassadors and charges d'affaires accredited to Haiti.
They are the ambassadors of France, Didier Lebret, of Canada, Henri Paul Normandin, Chile, Mauricio Leone Bravo, charges d'affaires, Dan Foot, United States of America, Daniel Pinto of Brazil, Benoit Bazin, European Union and Head of United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti, Mariano Fernandez.
During this important meeting which was attended by the Prime Minister, Garry Conille, and members of his Government and members of parliament, the Head of State met with diplomats on national security.
"We discussed matters of public safety. Soon the details will be provided to the public about it," said President Martelly.
The President of the Republic, one of four (4) axes of the rule of law program, which remains his commitment to creating a safe and stable climate for investment in Haiti.
