Martelly, Haitian Presidential Delegation to Address UN General Assembly

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht/hpnhaiti.com) - The presidential delegation to attend the 66th UN General Assembly in New York should leave Haiti Sunday, September 18, learned Haiti Press Network.

According to the spokesman for the presidency, Lucien Jura, contacted by Haiti Press Network (HPN) , the president Michel Martelly and several members of his cabinet will visit Sunday to the UN General Assembly.

The official delegation will travel to New York would be composed of 28 persons including seven members of the presidential cabinet.

According to a list managed to HPN, Prime Minister-designate Conille Garry, director of the Office of the President, Thierry Paul Mayard, counselors Daniel Torment, Laurent Lamothe, Laleau Wilson, Genevieve Douyon, Stanley Lucas and Patrick Rouzier would be part of the delegation, and Sophia Martelly, the First Lady, Michel-Olivier Martelly, Youth and Sports Advisor, Valerie Anne Timothy, Executive Director ai of the IHRC, and Herold Israel, director of communication.

The 66th session of the UN General Assembly opened on September 13 in New York.
