Formation of the Presidential Advisory Council for Economic Development and Investment

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - Tuesday, September 5, 2011: President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly, in his desire to revitalize the Haitian economy and promote job creation in the country, established the Presidential Advisory Council for Economic Development and Investment.
This structure, composed of former heads of state of friendly countries, major business, eminent personalities and technicians, is to encourage investment in Haiti to promote economic development.
The launching ceremony of the Board and the presentation of its members is scheduled at the National Palace Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 11.
The President of the Republic reiterates once again his willingness to work to improve the living conditions of the Haitian people.
