Mayor Wilson Jeudy Hold Prayer Service for President Martelly

Mayor Wilson JeudyPORT-AU-PRICE, Haiti (defend.ht) - During a special religious program at the Municipality Palace of Delmas yesterday, the mayor Wilson Jeudy called the prayer of evangelical Christians for complete recovery of President Michel Martelly.

"He was already dying and some plotters were preparing to form a new government", said the mayor of Delmas, a devout evangelical Christian, who introduced the Christian service in the public administration of his commune.

President Martelly had been hospitalized for two weeks in Miami for a pulmonary embolism.

The Mayor assured that the miracle of change is possible if the Haitian Christians continue to intercede to God for the head of State. If he died we will be facing a crisis, warned Mr. Jeudi which also placed emphasis on the importance of civic duties and the payment of the tax levies.

During the religious program President Martelly has read the Bible in Psalm 118. Along with the assistance he then sang a hymn Gospel emphasizes God's love for her child in trouble.

In a brief statement the president encouraged Christians to pray for Haiti's development. God will hear your prayers and the stain will be less difficult for me, insisted Martelly reiterates his determination to fulfill the task entrusted to him by the population.

"I acknowledge that I have the strength comes from God," insisted President Martelly under the "amen" from the audience.

Other pastors have taken place over the program to encourage Christians to pray for healing of the head of state.
