Haiti: Senator Lambert would Blame Executive if Moïse Jn-Charles were Harmed

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) – Senator Joseph Lambert (Sud-Est/Inite), one who is close to President Michel Martelly, says if something were to happen to Senator Moïse Jean-Charles (Nord/Inite) the first place his finger would point to is at the Executive.
Since raising allegations against the Head of State and members of the executive, Senator Moïse Jean-Charles has claimed to have been the receiver of threats of death.
Senator Lambert, for his part, urged the National Palace to immediately contact the Senator from the North and ensure that all measures of security are in place. Lambert says that suspicion, if harm were to befall his colleague in the North, would be on the executive.
”No matter what could happen to Senator Moïse, you don’t have to go too far to find the culprit.”
”…if the executive team were intelligent, they would, even today right now, would have called Moïse to ask him how is his security, what he needs for security, they would give him a bullet-proof vehicle so that now the executive doesn’t have to pay for whatever harm may befall the senator…”
”I’m going to tell you for my part, if something were to happen to Senator Moïse, the first place I would open the investigation, the first person I would scream anmwe on the radio that they did something to Senator Moïse it’s the executive.”
Jean-Charles has claimed of having proof that President Michel Martelly holds citizenship in the United States and Italy, that Foreign Affairs Minister Laurent Lamothe holds citizenship in Bolivia and Tourism Minister Stephanie Villedrouin hold citizenship in Canada.
The Haitian Constitution in no way allows dual nationality to high ranking government officials.
