MIAMI, USA (defend.ht) - After deportation and 8 year ban from entering the United States, the former artist, Deputy Gracia Delva of Marchand Dessalines, arrived at Miami International Airport on Friday.

The former lead singer of Zenglen is entering the U.S. for a meeting of undisclosed agenda in Washington and will return to Haiti on Tuesday.

According to the Haiti Press Network, which spoke to the artist's manager, after being refused from acquiring a U.S. visa, members of the Congressional Black Caucus intervened advocating for his passage.

Deputy Delva is Chairman of the House Communications, Culture and Tourism Committee. In Haiti he has continued his music career founding the band, Mass Compas.
