Investigation into Constitution Amendment Errors Complete, Report Not Submitted

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti - A Senate Committee investigating the publishing of an erroneous constitution that had not been voted on in Parliament completed its report 22 days ago but has not found the signatures need to release it.
Chairman of the Senate Commission, Senator Edmond Suplice Beauzile, confirmed that the constitutional amendments voted and passed on May 8th and 9th in the Parliament were not the version published in the official journal of executive, Le Moniteur, 4 days later.
"We are responsible for finding what shenanigans, during the transmission of the document, took place. To do this, we met with parliamentarians, and we have investigated the national press and the palace. Unfortunately we have not met all the people we wanted."
The Senator did not want to discuss the contents of this report, saying only that his work was finished. A majority of signatures from members of the commission are needed to finalize the report but has not been obtained.
He called on the members of the commission, to sign the report in the best time in order to submit it to the Office of the Senate.
