PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) – The Minister of Interior and Local Authorities and National Defense, Thierry Mayard-Paul, promised to the 140 mayors of Haiti that they will remain in office until the next elections, still to be determined, and provided Christmas money for those elected city halls whose terms would have come to term in January.
