Post officials deny embezzlement and send letter to sanction Deputy Belizaire

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - During a press conference, the former Director of the Post Offices of Haiti, Regine Godefroy, denied the allegations of Deputy Arnel Belizaire who said she embezzled 700,000 HTG as director of the institution. As well, the Minister of Commerce and Industry Wilson Laleau announced a letter was sent to the Chamber of Deputies requesting actions be taken against the deputy for an incident that occurred a week prior.

Haiti-Vietnam: A Cooperation of Phones and Rice

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - In a joint press conference with the Vietnamese Minister of Communication, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe announced that he would be receiving the PM of Vietnam in due time who will bring with him 15,000 tons of rice for Haiti, as part of 400,000 tons of rice from Vietnam expected in 2013.

Haiti PM mired in corruption, declares war on corruption
