Haiti Prime Minister Meeting with Prince Charles, United Kingdom

LONDON, United Kingdom (defend.ht) - Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe met with the United Kingdom's Prince Charles of Wales on Thursday in London. In this historic meeting, the two discussed reforestation and the reconstruction efforts in Haiti since the January 12, 2010 earthquake.
Thursday, July 26, 2012: Prime Minister, His Excellency Mr. Laurent Salvador Lamothe held a historic meeting, Thursday, July 26, with the Prince of Wales, His Royal Highness Prince Charles, during and official visit to the United Kingdom.
On this occasion, the Head of the Haitian Government and the heir to the British throne exchanged on the reforestation of Haiti and the reconstruction plan of the historic center of the Haitian capital devastated by the earthquake of January 12, 2010.
Prince Charles, whose foundation is involved in these operations, Promised Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe to commit continuous efforts in favor of the Haitian people and their Government.
The Head of the Haitian Government has estimated the meeting to have been fruitful with the Prince of Wales and took the opportunity to invite him to visit the Republic of Haiti.
