Haitian Minister Daniel Supplice Attacked by Four Gunmen in DR

SANTIAGO, Dominican Republic (defend.ht) — The Minister of Haitians Living Abroad, Daniel Supplice, was robbed by four armed men while riding with his family in neighboring Dominican Republic.
The crime took place on Thursday and was reported by Le Matin and confirmed by the Associated Press which spoke to Presidential Adviser Damian Merlo who said Supplice was doing fine but had no further details.

The thieves took "everything" said LM; phones and valuables.
Minister Supplice is visiting the neighboring Republic to attend the wedding of a family member and will return home this Saturday, December 24.
He said he would seek the assistance of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to take the case by the highest authorities to Dominicans.
Supplice’s Twitter account posted Friday night that he was “doing very well” and would speak to the press Monday.
