Haitian Government “Retires” for 2 Days to Find Solutions

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - The Prime Minister's Office announced in a statement that Prime Minister Garry Conille will be on retreat Friday and Saturday with the ministers and secretaries of the state at Club Indigo (North of the capital) in hopes of finding cohesion and solutions to solving the country's problem.

The government will take two days of “retirement” in search of solutions for the most urgent needs of the population."

One of the purposes of “retirement” is strengthening government cohesion and seeking a synergy of actions to make easy the implementation of various projects of President Martelly and commitments made by the Prime Minister in his Statement policy, informs the release.

After two days of work, the Government will establish a schedule of actions for the twelve (12) next months and will show to people "clear signals for the beginning of promised change." It will be given to each minister a roadmap as a basis of evaluation of the Government.

The suddenly decided retreat by the Government will definitely affect the agenda of the Senate Committee of Inquiry into the arrest of the MP Arnel Bélizaire (Delmas & Tabarre/Veye-Yo).
