ORLANDO, USA (defend.ht/CoHO) - The Consulate of Haiti in Orlando presents its distinguished salutations to the great people of Central Florida and is pleased to invite the Public in general to the Haitian Flag Day Celebration on Sunday May 20th 2012 at the "Festival Field" at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
This event is a joint initiative of the Consulate of Haiti in Orlando with the Haitian community of Central Florida, especially that of Orlando, and is absolutely free to the public.
The goal of the Haitian Flag Day Celebration is to uplift the patriotism and pride of all Haitians by showcasing the richness of the Haitian culture while commemorating the 209th anniversary of the Flag of the First Black Republic of the World.
The Consulate of Haiti in Orlando encourages all to come with family and friends to discover the cultural treasures of Haiti and enjoy an afternoon filled with fun, cultural and learning activities with particularly a parade, poetry, dance and music performances, etc.
Counting on the presence of all, the Consulate of the Republic of Haiti in Orlando avails itself of this opportunity to renew to all the assurance of its distinguished consideration.
The Consulate would also wishes to inform the public that the offices will be closed on Friday May 18 2012 for the Celebration of Haitian Flag Day.
