PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - Many political leaders have called last Friday president Martelly to take right measures to organize next elections in Haiti by the end of the year to renew, among others, third of Senate in Haitian Parliament.
Some political leaders, as new President of Fusion of Social Democrats, Senator Edmonde Supplice Bauzile, criticize the indecision and the Government's silence about the date of the next elections that shall renew, among others third of Senators.
"Political parties are the first concerned by theses elections and we still don't know what it is about", said Senator Beauzile who calls to consultations between parties in order to recommend Executive to set a new Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), to publish a new electoral calendar and a new electoral law.
"No one should imagine that the political parties will consent to go to the polls with an unreliable CEP," argues Sauveur Pierre-Etienne, the new leader of the Organization of Struggling People (OPL).
"The time has come for President Martelly to prove his will to break with the past, according to his campaign promises", adds the Haitian political leader.
