OPL Party: Haiti Not Sovereign from UN, Intends to Vote for Garry Conille Ratification

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - The Organization of the People in Struggle (OPL) Coordinator, Sauveur Pierre Etienne believes that Haiti is no longer a sovereign state and therefore can not raise the issue of residence for Mr. Conille since he is a United Nations official.
In an article in Le Nouvelliste , the OPL coordinator said his party's members in parliament are willing to give a vote in favor of Prime Minister-designate if he the commission reviewing his supporting documents say they are in accord with the Constitution of 1987.
According Sauveur Pierre Etienne, parliamentarians elected under the banner of the OPL party intend to provide the country with a government given the urgency of the hour.
Sauveur Pierre Etienne was elected General Coordinator of the OPL, in the last election made ​​by that party.
