IDB Holding Invest in Haiti Reconstruction Forum in Miami, December 8

MIAMI, USA (defend.ht) - The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will host a forum for getting U.S. private sector engagement in Haiti.
The 2011 Haiti Reconstruction Forum is on December 8, Thursday in Miami Florida and will have representatives from the Inter-American Development Bank, the U.S. State Department and the business community. They will discuss current projects and future possibilities in Haiti.
The event is sponsored by Miami-Dade County, Enterprise Florida and the IDB. It will be led by the IDB's U.S. executive director, who represents the U.S. government at the bank.
The IDB approved grants for a total of $251 million last year. It expects to provide about $200 million for Haitian redevelopment annually over the next decade.
