Haiti: Best Western Premier to Open Summer 2012

LOS ANGELES, USA (defend.ht) – Best Western, a U.S. hotel chain is expecting to open the doors of a new 7 story "Premier" hotel in Petion-Ville summer 2012.
Reported by Reuters, this establishment will be up-scale with 105 rooms, banquet hall for 140 and a spa and carry the Best Western Premier label.
Best Western Premier properties are required to have a lounge and on-site dining among other personalized services.
The company began to make a push to acquire property in late 2009. It was reported by ABC News that among Best Western were Choice Hotels and a new Haitian company Oasis Hotel. The earthquake of January 2010 brought a halt to development.
