Haiti: Collapse of St. Anne Church in Port-au-prince, No Casualties Reported

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - The ruins of Sainte-Anne Church (downtown of Port - au-Prince), heavily affected by the earthquake of 2010, collapsed Friday afternoon, causing no casualties.
During a church service held in the day, what remained of the temple had been very noticeable vibration.
This warning has prompted religious and faithful to move immediately, well before the disaster. The police and many curious were early in the evening on the site.
Victims had been recorded in the old church of Sainte-Anne where extensive damage occurred during the tragedy of January 12. Left standing columns only supported a few walls, stained glass Windows and the roof.
Several cracked buildings have collapsed since the magnitude 7 earthquake which, according to the official report, 250,000 had died mainly in Port-au-Prince.
