GRESSIER, Ayiti (defend.ht) - Jou mèkredi yon nouvo konplèks espòtif te louvri nan vil la nan Gressier nan St John Park la Batis. Ranpli ak yon tèren foutbòl ak tribinal baskètbòl, yo te konplèks la bati nan inisyativ sa a nan, pitit gason Prezidan Martelly Michel, Olivier, ki moun ki se tèt la nan Leta a pou Sport ak Jèn aktivite yo.
The opening of the field was attended by the President, First Lady Sophia Martelly, Mayor of Gressier, Jean Valcius Estinval, Sports Minister Jean Roosevelt and Deputy Jean Ronald Oscar (Gressier/Alternative).
According to a press release the president's son welcomed the project saying, "the realization of this project is a dream come true."
Many were on hand for the event which also featured a soccer match between the "T-formation" and Gressier Jaguars. Paratroops flew in to add to the spectacle.
The Head of the Sport and Youth Activities office announced more complexes would be built or repaired throughout the 10 departments of the country.
