PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - A group of gentlemen who call themselves "Mouvman Tèt Kale" that have been undertaking cleaning operations throughout the city are calling on President Michel Martelly to give them materials and money so that they can continue their services.
Mouvman Tèt Kale began cleaning after the inauguration of President Michel Martelly in May. The group say they did a lot of sweeping, trash pickup and painting but the area that they cleaned, Avenue Christophe, has become littered again and this time ask the Head of State to provide them materials and money, recalling the giveaways that the Head of State has led in "Christmas Solidarity".
The two representatives of the group went to the studios of Radio Kiskeya where they brought their appeals to the public.
