TITANYEN, Ayiti (defend.ht) - Ministè a nan Ayisyen nan peyi etranje Version (MHAVE) ak ayisyen Memorial Piramid Òganizasyon an (HMPO) te anonse konstriksyon an nan yon $ 75M-$ 100m piramid [US] nan memwa nan santèn de milye nan tranbleman tè viktim yo.
Edwin Paraison of MHAVE presented on Friday in conjunction with the HMPO, the project which would be erected in St-Christophe, Titanyen .
Minister Paraison and the treasurer of HMPO, Roland Wasembeck, say that pieces of concrete removed from tons of debris of collapsed buildings will be used in the construction of the pyramid which will will also create 20,000 jobs.
According to officials, the memorial dedicated to the 250,000 people killed in the earthquake that devastated Port-au-Prince is also expected to turn into a tourist destination for the town.
