Haiti: Sporting Complexo Abre em Gressier

Gressier, Haiti (defend.ht) - Na quarta-feira um complexo esportivo foi inaugurado na cidade de Gressier em São João Batista do Parque. Complete com um campo de futebol e quadra de basquete, o complexo foi construído por iniciativa do filho do presidente Michel Martelly, Olivier, que é o chefe de Estado do Desporto e Juventude atividades.
The opening of the field was attended by the President, First Lady Sophia Martelly, Mayor of Gressier, Jean Valcius Estinval, Sports Minister Jean Roosevelt and Deputy Jean Ronald Oscar (Gressier/Alternative).
According to a press release the president's son welcomed the project saying, "the realization of this project is a dream come true."
Many were on hand for the event which also featured a soccer match between the "T-formation" and Gressier Jaguars. Paratroops flew in to add to the spectacle.
The Head of the Sport and Youth Activities office announced more complexes would be built or repaired throughout the 10 departments of the country.
