Haiti: Senadores Votar a ratificar Laurent Lamothe 19 Yeas, 3 Nays e 1 abstenção

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - Na terça-feira 10 de abril, o Senado da República do Haiti votou a ratificar o primeiro-ministro do presidente Michel Martelly, Laurent Lamothe designado.
Laurent Lamothe will next have to achieve a majority vote in the lower house, the Chamber of Deputies of the Republic of Haiti on a date that is still to be determined.

Two commission reports were submitted and presented before the members of the upper house on Tuesday. The committee analyzing the documents submitted by the Prime Minister-designate recommended to ratify the Laurent Lamothe as prime minister. The committee on nationality recommended to not ratify the prime minister-designate based on nationality, residency and tax records.
A próxima vez que o primeiro-ministro designado será antes do Senado para a votação será para a declaração de política.
