New PM Garry Conille pede Jobs e inclusão no Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - The new Prime Minister of the Republic, Dr. Garry Conille's, first few words following his ratification in parliament was "jobs, jobs, jobs..."
Num New York Times article, Conille recognized the difficulties in advancing the Haitian economy but stressed unity and coming together as part of his policy.
"This will be a battle in some ways, a unique and historical opportunity to put all Haitians together around a common program to rebuild their country."
Inclusion of all sectors has not been easy in recent Haitian history but Prime Minister Conille believes in his ability to govern and produce results, saying:
"No sector will be excluded... we will all share responsibilities around a common vision to get the country out of this difficult situation."
In a series of quotes obtained by Haiti LIBRE, the Prime Minister added to the idea of inclusion by also making it a part of his policy with Haitian legislatures.
Political parties don't often unite to solve problems in Haiti but Conille bases the possibility of creating real results on working, meeting and sharing responsibilities with all groups and parties in government.
"The task ahead, the challenges ahead are enormous. They will be necessary that each person, every group, each entity contributes first to the definition of the vision and then to the definition of instruments and we really see a system where each individual, each party can contribute. So we are really talking about sharing of responsibilities."
"We will see with all partners, how they can contribute to the national effort. In the conviction, that the President also expressed on several occasions, he said very often, that we must govern together. We are already in consultation with partners, I met with political parties, I met the Deputies and Senators to see first how we can agree on what we want to achieve, agree on where we want to bring the country on the basis of mandates that these elected have received. Then we will of course agree on the instruments and also on the contribution of each other, so it's more that way that we approach it [the ministerial cabinet]."
Senate President Rodolphe Joazile, has sent two letters, one to President Michel Martelly to inform him officially of the ratification of his third nominee, Garry Conille, as Prime Minister and a letter to Dr. Conille to invite him to present his policy statement.
