The Head of State said, during a press conference at the Diplomatic Room of the Toussaint Louverture International Airport, taking advantage of his brief stay in Nicaragua to strengthen the ties of friendship with the various Heads of State present on this occasion.
President Martelly said to have had such a meeting over an hour, late evening, with the Nicaraguan Minister of Cooperation on trade between the two countries. In this regard, the Head of State said he wanted to build an integration program for youth and women in public affairs in Nicaragua.
The Head of State confirmed, moreover, an appointment with the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, on the occasion of his visit to Guatemala next Friday as part of its participation in the ceremony inauguration of new President of Guatemala, Otto Perez Molina.
