Pòtoprens, Ayiti (defend.ht)-ka a nan konplo sou do Martelly swadizan ki enplike yon ansyen ofisye wo-plase lame nan Repiblik Dominikèn ak yon sitwayen ameriken ayisyen ap kontinye trase reyaksyon nan medya divès kalite an Ayiti, majorite nan yo eksprime dout ak enkyetid ki gen rapò ak konsekans posib tout moun ki tankou "konplo" yon.
The Executive Director of the National Network of Human rights (RNDDH), Pierre Esperance, on Saturday expressed his concern at the revelations made last week by government officials of the two republics sharing the island. He wants clarifications to be made quickly on the case so that it may not be used, as before, as a pretext for persecution against any opponents.
The human rights activist does not rule, therefore, the possibility that the case is nothing but a manipulation intended to facilitate attacks against people because of their opinions.
Mr. Esperance noted how surprising is the speed with which the Government Commissioner Jean Renel Senatus claims to have the public proceedings against alleged plotters while the evidence of any flagrant has not yet been established.
The Executive Director of the Civil Society Initiative (ISC), Rosny Desroches, said that he too, be in total confusion over this story of conspiracy. He hoped the two governments provide further explanation on the issue.
Desroches also questioned the possibility for Dominican candidate for president, Hipolito Mejia (PRD), to destabilize the government Martelly with the presence of thousands of UN peacekeepers in Haiti.
The head of the National Party, Democratic and Progressive Haitian (PNDPH) and board member of the Political Platform "Rasanble," Dr. Turneb Delpé, also doubts the accuracy of the information reported about the "conspiracy" by the Haitian Minister of Justice and Public Safety, Michel Brunache. He also expressed apprehension over the possibility that the “plot” does not serve the outbreak of political persecution.
Also expressing skepticism over the record and wishing that evidence be shown, the MP for Mole Saint Nicolas (Northwestern), Eloune Doreus (OPL), proposed to Government to "invent" a conspiracy against poverty and hunger that plague the country.
Former Senator and member of the Center of the General Secretariat of the Fusion of Haitian Social Democrats, Serge Gilles, believes that the allegded "conspiracy" is a response of the government to corruption case revealed by Dominican journalist Nuria Piera.
