Haiti: Deputies fail to Vote on Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing Law

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - It was deception from the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday when the legislative body did not put to a vote the critical Law on Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing as was expected. The President of the Chamber said members continue to have problems with several articles in the bill that has been on the table approaching one year.
