Presidente Martelly a Haití con muchas promesas

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haití (defend.ht) - El presidente haitiano, Michel Martelly regresó domingo 4 de diciembre a Haití después de asistir a la primera cumbre de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños (CELAC) en Venezuela. Dijo que 33 países participantes en la reunión se comprometieron a contribuir de manera significativa a la reconstrucción de Haití.
"This trip was a success, we met with presidents grateful to Haiti and who promised to help us," said Martelly announcing in 2013 an International day for Latin American countries that had received help from Haiti at the time of their independence.
"This day will be celebrated in Jacmel (south-east of Haiti), where the infrastructures will be set up to host foreign dignitaries, promised Mr. Martelly.
"The President sees an opportunity to launch major operations in Jacmel to put this city on the tourist map. "I will speak with the Minister of Finance or with the private sector on how to build a resort in Jacmel," said Martelly.
"The President of the Republic expressed his optimism about the benefits of the first CELAC summit.
"He informed that the 33 countries participating in the meeting passed a resolution formally and to contribute significantly to the reconstruction of Haiti.
