Nuevo embajador de Haití en EE.UU. asume el cargo

WASHINGTON, USA (defend.ht) - Paul Altidor, the new Haitian Ambassador to the United States appointed by Joseph Michel Martelly, presented his credentials to U.S. President Barack Obama, have learned from the Embassy of Haiti in Washington.
The ceremony, held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the White House, was an opportunity for the new Ambassador of Haiti to convey the message of friendship and high esteem of the Haitian president to his U.S. counterpart.
"As Ambassador, I seek to deepen the relationship between Haiti and the United States, two of the oldest republics in the world, just as we are promoting very many business opportunities in Haiti," said Ambassador Altidor.
Appointed Ambassador by President Michel Martelly, Paul Altidor was previously Vice President of programs and investments to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund.
