Arcade Fire realiza vivo en el Oloffson, Port-au-Prince

El álbum de los ganadores del Año en los Grammy 2011, Arcade Fire, comenzó su larga gira en vivo mes a través de Haití ayer por la noche, actuando en el Hotel Oloffson en Port-au-Prince. Esta es la primera vez que los ganadores del Grammy han actuado en Port-au-Prince desde The Fugees en 1993.
Se informó por Defender Haití last week that Arcade Fire would be doing a live tour through Haiti for a DVD that will also provide some donations and support for the rebuilding efforts.
Lead singer and founder of the group, Regine Chassagne is from Haiti. Her family left during the Duvalier administration. This is not Regine's first time Regine has been in Haiti but it is the first time, she has been in Haiti with a Duvalier on the island.
The Oloffson is a legendary and historic hotel now owned by Richard Morse, from the band, RAM. More details from their trip to come as more information is available.
