PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti - Rapper Jameson "G Bobby Bon Flo" Toussaint passed away Wednesday morning an announcement from RKM Recordz stated.
According to Sa'w Panse? reports called the cause of death an asthma attack. Toussaint was 26.
G Bobby Bon Flo is acknowledged as one of the greatest MCs of all time within the Hip-Hop Kreyol community; Bon Flo’s career took off when he released the controversial track, “Map Kanpe Laâ€.
The song quickly became a success amongst the Hip Hop Kreyol fans across the nation and Bon Flo capitalized on its success by performing at numerous shows and touring most cities in the country.
His first solo LP, “Pale Cho†was recently released under RKM Recordz, a label in South Florida who has signed the artist to two album deals. The album is currently selling all over the net as well as all record stores in Haiti. The album features 21 tracks including the hit single “Roule Mizik Mwen†as well as “Pou Rapâ€, “Pou Haitiâ€, “Eske m Redâ€
